Summary
- The public Routemates website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies are used on the website.
- Only our own staff’s admin tool uses one strictly-necessary sign-in cookie.
1. The public website
The website at routemates.lorsnexus.com — including the legal pages, help pages, invite pages and public Live Watch pages — does not set cookies or use browser storage, and loads no analytics or advertising scripts. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly-necessary security cookie to protect the site from attacks and bots. We have not enabled Cloudflare bot management or challenges for this site, so these cookies (__cf_bm, cf_clearance) are not set in normal use; if Cloudflare ever challenges a visitor during an attack, the cookie it sets is strictly necessary and expires within 30 minutes.
2. The staff admin tool
The admin tool used by Lorsnexus staff sets one cookie, __Host-rm_staff, to keep a staff member signed in. It is strictly necessary, is only readable by our server (HttpOnly), only sent over secure connections, never shared with other sites (SameSite=Strict), and expires after at most 8 hours. It is not set for app users or website visitors.
3. The app
The Android and iOS apps do not use cookies. Its analytics and crash reporting are described in the Privacy Policy, where you can also find how to turn analytics off.
4. Changes
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before setting it.
