Why is my location stale?

Others see your marker faded with an age (for example "3 min ago") when your phone has not sent a location for more than 2 minutes.

Common causes:

• No network. Your last known position stays on the map until you are back online.
• Battery saver paused Routesmate in the background. See Location not updating on Xiaomi.
• Location permission is not set to Allow all the time. See Allow location all the time.
